With a new form, colour and taste, Gille is bringing the classic concept, “Seven Kinds of Cookie” into the 21st Century. The launch of our SEVEN KINDS OF COOKIE selection mixes the traditional classics with new and exciting flavour trends. Three of the seven cookies are available in shops from 9 April.

The concept is completely new for us in terms of taste, design and presentation on the shop shelves. The launch takes place on 9 April and the three cakes below will be the first ones released. The rest of the range will be developed later.

  1. Shortbread Biscuits
    A shortbread base with a raspberry and blueberry filling.


  1. Chocolate Chip Cookies
    A crunchy cookie with dark chocolate chips.


  1. Ginger Biscuits
    A spicy biscuit with crushed ginger and a hint of lime.

What’s in a tradition?
According to tradition, it was considered stingy to offer six kinds of cookies, whereas eight or more was seen as extravagant. Seven kinds of cookie was therefore just right – not too many, not too few. This custom has been around since the end of the 19th century, and now we are continuing the tradition with our assortment of both the cookies everyone knows and loves, and new and exciting choices.
