Ginger snap treats? Of course! Start by peeling a few almonds, then roll out Gille ginger snap dough on a floured chopping board. Make the layer about half a centimetre thick. Cut the dough into squares measuring about 3 x 3 cm. Press a peeled almond into the centre of each square, place on a baking tray, bake in the oven and leave to cool. A neat take on conventional ginger snaps – easy to make and tastes divine.
Hint: You can swap out the almonds with something equally tasty. How about a walnut, your favourite sweets or some white chocolate?
